Marten Schilstra

About Me

Hello, just in case you overlooked it while scrolling down the page, my name is Marten Schilstra. I currently live in the Netherlands and study IT / Computer Science. There are two things that I like the most, one is music, the other is web development and programming.

My main power in web developing is JavaScript, with a lot of HTML and CSS on the side. I can also find my way around the server side of the web stack with either PHP or Ruby. Databases? No problem, I can do that too.

I spend most of my free time experimenting and doodling with various programming languages (though mostly JavaScript). I plan on publishing a few of those sometime soon. Meanwhile, a few of my projects made it out to Github.

One of the bigger projects I have done so far is VanillaTF2.org, where I have developed the new WordPress theme and modified and created a good few of the plugins used.
